He studied calculation methods for the temperature field, magnetic field, vibration, and noise of amorphous alloy transformers, conducted simulation analysis and experimental testing comparisons, and proposed a new mixed-core structure using amorphous alloy silicon steel sheets, including corresponding testing and analysis. The results have been applied to the company's product R&D. After a rigorous review by the expert panel, it was unanimously agreed that he should pass the exit assessment.

Doctor Xu Xiaowen's thesis proposal focused on research into "Calculation and Evaluation Methods for DC Bias in Power Transformers." The topic selection holds significant value for theoretical research and engineering applications. The expert panel offered professional suggestions regarding scheme optimization and practical application, unanimously approving the thesis proposal.
